I'll start by telling you a little about me, your tutor.

I have been teaching for eight years; I have also worked as a major publisher's editor which means that I have worked with published and unpublished fiction authors; I know how publishers want to be approached and what they are looking for. I am also a practicing freelance journalist, so I know the joys and woes of writing, the hard work involved as well as the delight of seeing one's name in print and being paid for it!
